Teen DBT Skills Group

Develop a Positive Self-Esteem, How to Handle Your Feelings and Healthy Social Skills

This is an ongoing evidence-based and outcome-focused approach that will enhance development of skills specifically for teens.  The program targets issues surrounding development of a positive self-concept, emotional stability, and effective interpersonal skills.  The therapist will work with the teen and family, utilizing ongoing assessment to monitor progress.

 

Skills gained have shown in many studies to:

-  Improve attention and focus

-  Reduce impulsivity

-  Decrease anxiety and depression symptoms

-  Address self-injurious/suicidal behavior

Positive Parenting Group

Develop Resilience, Strengthen Family Relationships and Practical Behavior Management Skills

This is an 6-week outcome-focused program that will enhance the development of skills specifically for parents. The program targets issues surrounding development of a positive self-concept for you and your child, provide sustainable change with parent-child conflicts, improve emotional stability, reduce impulsiveness and reactivity, provide behavior management skills and seek more stability within the home.

 

Skills gained have shown to:

-  Develop Resilience

-  Heal and Grow from Trauma and Stress

-  Strengthen Family Relationships

-  Build Healthy Boundaries and Communication

-  Use Practical Behavior Management Skills

-  Stress Management and Self-Care
